Meet our Staff!
Ben Harris, MPT, Cert. MDT
|
Ben was born in North Carolina and grew up on Long Island, New York. He completed two years of undergraduate study at the University of Buffalo in New York before going on to earn a Masters degree in physical therapy at Touro College in Dix Hills, New York.
A physical therapist since 1994, Ben has worked with Renaissance PT since 1997, and took an ownership position in 2003. In 2005, he earned an advanced certification from the McKenzie Institute, USA to become a "mechanical diagnostic therapist" specializing in the McKenzie method of spinal and extremity evaluation and treatment.
Outside of work Ben enjoys hiking, mountaineering, tennis, and home improvement projects. Ben and his wife Sara were married in August 2005, welcomed their son, Samuel, in July 2006 and their daughter, Isabella, in November 2007. |
Maria "Lui" Asistio, PT

Lui was born in Manila, Philippines and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines in 1991.
In 1993 Lui moved to the USA and in Florida, her physical therapy experience included acute care, out-patient, in-patient rehabilitation , skilled nursing, home-health and teaching. She was an adjunct faculty and a clinical instructor for the PT Assistant program at Polk Community College. In 2004, she moved to WA state and has been with Renaissance PT since then.
Outside the clinic, Lui enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies and karaoke. She is passionate about music and loves to play the keyboard. She also likes spending time with her four-legged friend, Baci, a shih tzu.

Andrew Amirr, PTA
|
Andrew was born in Toms River, New Jersey and grew up largely in Wichita, Kansas before returning to New Jersey. He completed two years of undergraduate studies at Wichita State University before moving to Washington State in 2002. He obtained his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Pima Medical Institute in October of 2009, and joined the Renaissance team in November 2009. Since joining Renaissance he has completed rigorous training in Med-X spinal strength testing and strength training, in the Active Isolated Stretching technique, as well as in many other manual therapy approaches. His learning and development is ongoing.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends, his wife, and their two dogs, Manny and Molly. He also enjoys working out, playing golf, playing and watching baseball, especially the Red Sox!

Tyler Kelly, PT Aide
|
Tyler was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. He attended California State University at Chico and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in May 2009. While at Cal Sate, Chico Tyler competed in NCAA Track and Field.
His future plans involve diversifying his career aspirations to include fitness training and coaching track and field professionally.
